Joseph Phiri is a dedicated and compassionate physiotherapist with over five years of clinical experience in evidence-based rehabilitative care. As the Clinical Director of Movement & Rehabilitation at Health Esprit, he leads the physiotherapy team with a strong focus on restoring optimal movement, function, and long-term wellness.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy (BSc. PT) from the University of Zambia, where he laid the foundation for his integrative and patient-centred approach. Joseph has since worked with a diverse range of clients—from post-surgical recovery and sports injury rehabilitation to chronic pain and neurological conditions. In clinical practice since 2007, Dr. Nomagugu Sibanda is a dedicated medical doctor with a special interest in maternal and child health—a field that deeply aligns with her passion for supporting women through all stages of reproductive health.
She earned her medical degree from Saint Petersburg State Medical University named after Mechnikov in Russia and returned to Zambia to begin her medical career. Following her internship at Ndola Central Hospital (now Ndola Teaching Hospital) in the Copperbelt Province, she served as a Senior Resident Medical Officer at Mazabuka District Hospital in Southern Province, where she delivered care to both urban and rural communities.
In 2018, she pursued her Master of Medicine in Obstetrics and Gynecology through the Copperbelt University School of Medicine and graduated in 2023.
Her postgraduate training has equipped her to provide expert, high-quality care in maternal health, including the management of complex obstetric emergencies and surgical interventions.
Currently based at Kanyama Level One Hospital, Dr. Sibanda provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecological services. His career began in 2009 after completing Enrolled Nursing training at Monze School of Nursing, followed by progressive academic achievements including a diploma in Food and Nutrition from NRDC (2014–2018) and a Bachelor of Nursing from Chreso University (2021–2024).
He has worked extensively across healthcare settings—starting in the Emergency Department for three years, followed by service in the mining sector in Kalumbila for one year and six months. Upon re-joining government service, he provided hands-on bedside care in both medical and surgical wards, before advancing into leadership as a Night Superintendent for three years.
